Justin Hickox was born to hair stylist/salon owners John and Sharon Hickox. "I can't remember a day that wasn't spent at the salon working or just watching" says Justin. At 18 Justin moved to Dallas, Texas to attend one of the finest hair schools in the world. "I was lucky that my parents made enough friends nationally and internationally in the hair industry to position me around the best of the best." After he graduated from school he returned to Portland, Oregon to begin the year long apprentice program at his parent's salon. When that was accomplished he went on to work as a stylist in the salon while simultaneously taking classes to learn how to instruct advanced techniques to future apprentices. During the past 11 years he has done hair for television, celebrities, photo shoots, hair/fashion shows, etc. My parents were known for having one of the most educated salons in the nation. On a daily basis I am making sure to hold my salon to those same high standards. We are constantly learning new techniques and styles. A truly great stylist knows that they never know everything. Fashion constantly changes."
