Our philosophy is simple, we believe pets are an integral part of our families and deserve our respect and love. With a combined 40+ years of experience in the pet supply industry, we decided to create a prototype store that honors our philosophy on pets. Nature's Pet takes pet nutrition and care to another level by offering super premium pet foods at affordable prices.
What sets us apart from other pet retailers is our service and staff. All of our employees undergo extensive training in pet nutrition and care. Also, each store is tailored to the area it serves. For example if there are more small animals in an area, we will carry more small animal supplies.
Along with excellent customer service, our store design creates an "experience" unlike any other pet store. Our windows have extensive displays and our inside walls contain beautiful murals of animals by local artists. These murals are especially visible in our cat adoption cages. Since we do not sell puppies or kittens in our stores, we work with local adoption teams to find homes for unwanted cats and kittens. Also, each location will have an "Our Family" bulletin board where pet photos and pet names are displayed.

I love this place. One of the few spots in town to get good, natural pet foods.
I, too, like the product line, but one of this store's staff members (a slender, young, dark-haired woman) is in dire need of customer service training. My wife and I shopped there on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 14. The young woman was the only staff member in the store. She never greeted us, never asked if she could be of assistance and never even acknowledged our presence until we brought our items to the counter to pay. Even then she never asked if we had found what we wanted and didn't even say thank you. For a store that brags about its excellent customer service this is inexcusable. We live in Orenco and like to shop locally, but if we are treated like this again, we won't be going back. There are plenty of other pet stores in the area.
